Holly Dickens Festival Days 2012
What better time to soak in the charm of Downtown Holly and get a jumpstart on your Christmas shopping than during the village´s annual Dickens Festival?
Established in the early 1970s, every year, the Dickens Festival transforms the quaint streets of downtown Holly into a page out of Charles Dickens´ classic, "A Christmas Carol." With games, parades, food, drinks, music, Dickens characters roaming the streets and more, it´s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.
Over the last year, many new businesses cropped up in downtown Holly, giving this year´s festival-goers and visitors more shopping, dining and browsing opportunities from which to choose.
This year´s Dickens Festival will be running for three fun-packed weekends in November and December in downtown Holly Michigan.
The Dicken's play is being done by Joe Mishler's Blue Heron Theater Group by volunteers. Auditions for these parts are being held on October 11th at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Village office, where the play is normally performed. If you have some talent and want to have some fun don't miss it!
December 8th will also be the Run Like the Dickens race and Holiday Parade.

Dickens Festival ~ Day 1 & 2 ~ November 24th & 25th 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Dickens Festival ~ Day 3 & 4 ~ December 1st & 2nd 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Dickens Festival ~ Day 5 & 6 ~ December 8th & 9th 12:00pm - 6:00pm
